Around the World Star Alliance fare is a way for you to travel according
to miles. Travel with any combination of Star Alliance airlines involve 29 carriers and make anywhere from 3 up to 15 stops on your journey (limited to 5 with the Economy Class Round the World. You have a choice of four fare levels, based on maximum distance allowed: 26,000 miles, 29,000 miles, 34,000 miles or 39,000 miles.

No more than 3 transfers are permitted in one city. The Star Alliance Round the World Fare can back-track within a region or continent during trip. The key requirements are that the journey must start and end in the same country and that travel is round the world with only one Atlantic and only one Pacific crossing included. You can change the dates of most of your flights at any time, except for those up to and including your first international flight. For a small fee, you're able to change destinations.
